Citizenship in Teaching Foreign Languages - Campus Krems

Topic of this Erasmus programme is the International Year of Volunteers and how it can be implemented in school lessons. Therefore 48 students and 14 teachers from 12 EU countries (Turkey, Spain, Latvia, England, Norway, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Great Britain, Holland, Hungary, Denmark) attended other schools and different non-profit-organisations such as the Red Cross and the
Fire Brigade etc. Citizenship and volunteering issues were approached in a multidisciplinary sense. Apart from lectures and workshops on this topic the students also had to teach in Austrian schools.
